Snowstorm Hammer's Winnipeg
This weather that Winnipeg is having recently should not be a surprise to the people who have been living here for the past few decades. We have experienced the many bipolar weather mother nature has given us, and quite frankly, the constant nagging and complaints are tiring. We all should be aware to dress warmly outside rather than wearing just a sweater. This is not the United States or Vancouver. We are living in Winnipeg and we are expected to be bundled up in our Antarctic-like jackets, gloves, thermal pants, etc. inorder to qualify for a safe trip outside. There are also countless accidents, slippings and slidings, collisions, etc. with the cars on the roads of Winnipeg. Drive forty kilometers. Never speed because you are late. You can't fight the weather we are having. Especially since January 28, 2010 when we have been given the unexpected 10+ cm of snow that fell from the sky. So furthermore, be cautious, be alert, be aware, be patient, and DRIVE SAFELY, Winnipeg!
